Alternative Cooking Methods for Gobble Grill and BBQ Kits

Don’t have a grill? No problem, here are some alternative cooking methods for Gobble Grill and BBQ Kits:

1) New York Steak / Ribeye Steak:

  • Place a large saute pan onto the stovetop, add 1 tbsp. of cooking oil, and set the heat to medium-high. When the oil is hot, place the steaks into the saute pan. Be careful for any oil splatter.
  • Cook for 5 min, to form a dark browned crust. Lower the heat as needed if the pan is too hot.
  • Use tongs to turn over the steaks and cook for 4-5 additional min. Transfer the cooked steaks onto the cutting board to rest before serving.

2) Spare Ribs / Baby Back Ribs:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Separate the racks of ribs. Place the ribs in a large sheet of aluminum foil and place onto a baking sheet.
  • Season the ribs with any provided barbecue spice or rub, then sprinkle the ribs with a 2-3 tbsp. of water.Close up the aluminum foil around the ribs into a tented pouch and place the baking sheet into the oven.
  • Cook for 18-25 min, or until fully heated and tender. If desired, baste the ribs with barbecue sauce and cook for 2-3 additional min uncovered to glaze the sauce.

3) Chicken Drumsticks:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the chicken drumsticks in a sheet of aluminum foil and place onto a baking sheet. Close up the aluminum foil around the chicken drumsticks into a tented pouch and place the baking sheet into the oven.
  • Cook for 15-20 min, or until fully heated. If desired, baste the chicken with barbecue sauce and cook for 2-3 additional min uncovered to glaze the sauce.

4) Burgers

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place a large saute pan onto the stovetop, add 1 tbsp. of cooking oil, and set the heat to medium. When the oil is hot, place the burger patties into the pan. Be careful for any oil splatter. Cook for 4 min on the first side.
  • Then use a spatula to turn the burger patties over and cook for 3 additional min. Then turn off the heat.
  • Top the burgers with cheese if desired. Then place the pan into the oven and cook for 4 min, or cook until the burgers reach your desired doneness. Use an oven mitt to carefully remove the pan from the oven. Set aside to rest.
